Cafe de Piano Lessons

Piano lessons for adults

Location: Algonquin store

Lesson day: Third Thursday of every month ( Algonquin store's regular closing day)

I'll help you add your favorite songs to your repertoire, not just classical music. Lessons are tailored to each individual's level and preferences.

Please tell me what you'd like to try, what songs you'd like to play, etc.!

Each session is 60 minutes long (starts at 00 minutes past the hour or 30 minutes past the hour).

• Single lesson: ¥6,500 (tax included)
• Continuing course
Ticket booklet (6 sessions): ¥30,000 (tax included)
*Tickets are valid for one year (payment required in advance).

▪️Materials
Please bring any sheet music you would like to play.
We can also prepare sheet music tailored to your desired style and skill level. Furthermore, if you don't have sheet music for the song you want to play, we can discuss arrangement and transcription options.

(Additional charges apply)
▪️Lessons will be conducted using a Roland digital piano.
Those who get a flyer at the store can take part in a trial lesson.

Maria Ando
25 years of teaching experience
Currently affiliated with Unistyle, contracted with the Yamaha Foundation, provides instruction in Yamaha performance/teaching grades 5-3, and offers private lessons. In addition to live performances, she also provides recording support, film scores, and songwriting services.

Tiny free library

There is a bookshelf in a corner of the Algonquin store.

We have a variety of books from different genres that have been donated by our customers .

This is a small bookshelf library where you can bring your own books and exchange them for any book you like.

(The book genres include self-help books, literary works, art books, etc.)

Please include a brief note about the book you brought with you for the benefit of the next person who picks it up.

Paperback books and new releases can be exchanged for other paperback books.

You can exchange the same number of books you brought with you.

Please refrain from submitting books that are noticeably stained or torn.

Comics, magazines, and cookbooks are non-exchangeable.
